1. Definitions

- Customer refers to the individual or entity hiring the skip.
- Skip refers to the container provided for waste disposal.
- Booking refers to the agreement to hire a skip as per these terms.
2. Booking and Reservation
2.1 Booking Process
All bookings must be made through our official channels. By submitting a booking request, the customer agrees to provide accurate and complete information.
2.2 Confirmation
Upon receiving a booking request, the company will confirm the reservation. The booking is not confirmed until the customer receives this confirmation.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Pricing
Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The customer will be informed of any changes prior to the confirmation of the booking.
3.2 Payment Methods
We accept various payment methods including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and other specified methods. Payment must be made in full before the skip is delivered.
3.3 Late Payments
Late payments may incur additional charges. The company reserves the right to suspend services until payments are up to date.
4. Delivery and Collection
4.1 Delivery
The company will deliver the skip to the address provided by the customer on the agreed date and time. Delays caused by unforeseen circumstances will be communicated promptly.
4.2 Placement
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the placement location is safe and accessible for the skip delivery and collection.
4.3 Collection
The company will collect the skip at the end of the rental period. The customer must ensure that the skip is accessible for collection.
5. Rental Period
The rental period begins on the date of delivery and ends on the agreed return date. Extensions may be possible upon request and subject to availability and additional charges.
6. Usage
6.1 Permissible Waste
Only waste items listed as permissible are allowed in the skip. A detailed list is available upon request and must be adhered to strictly.
6.2 Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited:
- Hazardous materials such as asbestos, chemicals, and batteries.
- Electrical appliances containing mercury.
- Explosives and flammable materials.
- Medical waste and sharps.
- Any items restricted by local laws.
Disposing of prohibited items is illegal and may result in penalties.
6.3 Load Limit
The skip must not be overloaded beyond its capacity. Overloading can lead to safety hazards and additional charges.
7. Liability
7.1 Customer Responsibility
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the skip is used in accordance with these terms. Any damage caused by misuse will be charged to the customer.
7.2 Company Liability
The company is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the skip. Direct losses will be covered to the extent permitted by law.
8. Cancellation and Changes
8.1 Cancellation Policy
Bookings can be canceled up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery without incurring a fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before delivery may be subject to a cancellation fee.
8.2 Changes to Booking
Changes to the booking, such as date, time, or location, must be requested at least 24 hours in advance. The company reserves the right to accept or decline such changes based on availability.
9. Insurance
The customer is advised to insure their property and belongings. The company holds insurance for the skip and its contents as per standard industry practices.
10. Privacy Policy
All personal information provided by the customer is handled in accordance with our privacy policy. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your data is secure.
11. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the company operates.

The company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Severability

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and the company regarding skip hire services, superseding all prior agreements or understandings.

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter amicably before seeking legal remedies. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.
